General Info

  • Junior Gan Israel Day Camp is staffed by a full complement of successful early childhood educators who have worked extensively with preschool-age children. Your child will receive individualized attention and care in a loving, Jewish environment.

  • Camp is located at Arie Crown Hebrew Day School, 4600 Main St., in Skokie. The clean and spacious building and lovely playground are located on a beautiful campus.

  • Camp will provide a midmorning snack, and drinks with lunch. All you need to send is a sandwich lunch. There will be two days when camp will provide a special lunch.

  • Children need not be toilet-trained to attend.

  • You will receive a letter with more details, including a camp calendar and a list of campers to facilitate forming a carpool, closer to the summer.

  • A free camp T-shirt is provided to every camper.

  • An afternoon enrichment option until 3:30 p.m. is available. It includes snacks, professionally instructed gymnastics and other enrichment activities.

  • Transportation to and from camp is available from certain areas.

Dates and Fee Schedule

Orientation for children and parents will be held on Sunday, June 26, 11:00 a.m. - noon.

Camp meets Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (or 3:30 p.m.), for six weeks.

 

Initial payment of 1/2 of fee is to be submitted with application and is nonrefundable once registration is closed. The balance must be paid by June 1 or your child's reservation may be forfeited. No invoice will be sent.
